Lots of people dream to learn violin at home but they think that it is the difficult task. But if you have a love for music and if you are dedicated than you will be able to learn violin at home.

I strongly believe in that.

You can successfully learn violin at home if you are mentally focused and if you have a proper learning plan and motivation. Here’s what I learned so far.

• It’s good to study the mechanics of the violin so that it will no longer be the mystery for you and you can confidently handle it. Once you will discover the mystery of violin, you start to enjoy its company and our companion will really help you to discover more and more in the field of music.
• Now you need to familiarize with the bow which is held by its heavier end in right hand. Try to memories names of the four strings of the violin that are G which is the lowest, D is low string, A is high string and E is highest string.
• It is very important to tune the violin because tuning affects the sound quality of a violin. Tuning is done by turning strings of wooden peg clockwise for higher pitch and if you want to have lower pitch than they should be turning anti clockwise direction.
• If you are novice and you don’t know where to start and how to play a violin than it’s better to read treble clef as most of the music is written in clef and it can be helpful for beginners a lot.
• Have a stretch exercise for your jaw, shoulders and neck because all these three muscles will be involved when you will play the violin and it is very important for you to exercise these muscles.
• It’s very important to learn how to hold the violin. A violin should be held in your left hand and your fingers curl the fingerboard gently without pressing it too hard.
• Wearing a wrist braces can be a good choice if you do not want to strain your carpal muscles.

If you really want to master over a violin than it is very important to give it proper time and practice because it is the learning violin which makes you perfect. I know I can learn violin at home. If I can do it, anyone can.
