Learning to play the violin can be possible if you keep five things in mind. 1. The first and most important thing that you need to learn to play the violin is you have to buy your own violin. I have heard from many people who have the passion to learn to play the violin that shall we buy our own violin or we rent it? The answer is if you will do part time effort you will only able to get part time results but once you buy your own violin, you will try to give your hundred percent with it and you will keep practicing with it to produce wonderful tunes with it. With your own violin you will be able to practice more with it and you will have more intermittent lessons with it.
2. The second and the most important thing is practice with your violin regularly. You must commit with yourself that you will practice the violin for certain numbers of hours per week. Make your schedule, it’s better to write down that how many hours you will spend to practice the instrument.
3. I recommend you to find a quiet and peaceful area in your home and use it for practicing the violin. If you keep practicing the violin than you are definitely on the right path.
4. Do not fear when fiddling with the violin. Always relax yourself because your fingers can not produce a good music in tension therefore it’s better to relax first and then start practicing it.
5. It’s important to take care of your instrument well. It’s better to tune it well even if you a novice because if you will not take care of your instrument properly, you cannot able to make good tunes with and eventually your instrument will sound terrible. Therefore it’s better to take care of your instrument exactly like you take care of your car. Keep the bow rosin and don’t allow it to have dust on it.
